A Message From The Chief

As we begin 2015, I find myself reflecting on this past year and looking eagerly towards the New Year.

This year we responded to just over 5900 calls for service and each of those patients was treated with

kindness and high quality medical care. I know this because I see it happening and we receive hundreds of

unsolicited thank you letters every year from our patients. The success of our organization is a direct result of

your dedication to Henrietta Ambulance and the communities that we serve. Our career is not an easy one

and I know that there were more than a few occasions when we encountered situations that we would rather

not have been there. We usually don’t get called for happy occasions; we are often there when it is that

person’s worst day. Everyday each of you musters the professionalism and compassion to handle even the

worst situations.

This year, in addition to providing high quality, compassionate care, we are focusing on three projects that will

continue to move our agency forward and improve on the high quality service our patients have come to

expect. Our in house billing program, led by Captain Jarrett begins today. This closes the loop for the patient

as we will have direct responsibility for providing care and then working with the patient on any billing questions

or issues they may have. The second project is the construction of a second station in the Bailey Road / John

Street / East River Road area. That station will provide an improved level of service to the West side of

Henrietta. Finally, we are evaluating options for renovating our headquarters. The renovations main focus will

be directed at new and improved space for our highly acclaimed simulation program. However, we are also

evaluating our current office space to determine how we can maximize what we have and if needed add some

additional office and work space.

Thank you for everything you do every day to make our home (Henrietta Ambulance) a great place to work. I

look forward to coming in everyday and I hope each of you shares my feelings. I am blessed to have the

privilege to serve beside such a wonderful group of consummate professionals.

As part of my extended family I wish each of you and your family a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

With gratitude,

Reg
