Paramedics from an agency other than CHS MIHC

Just a reminder that at NO TIME is a paramedic from another agency permitted to ride in the back of
our ambulance alone. At a minimum, our EMT rides and completes a full PCR. If it is a situation
where a fly car paramedic on scene declines to transfer care to our paramedic (which is their
prerogative), our paramedic will ride in the back with the visiting paramedic. Please be sure to inform
the other paramedic that we will return them to their vehicle, however we are in service when leaving
the hospital and they will be going with you if you are dispatched on another call.
