Chili Station Radio Signal
Lately we have been having signal issues with the station pager at Chili along with crew portables in Chili base. I have reached out to radio center with the signal loss issue and they have come out and did testing and found no significant loss that would create an issue. Radio Center is asking us to mark times when the signal has dropped. Reminder of Chart Closure Policy (General Order 5.20.05)
We know some shifts get busy and crews can get behind on charts despite their best efforts. However, there have been several instances of charts including critical disposition being left open for extended periods without approval. As a reminder it is required that the following chart criteria and types are completed by the end of shift: Prehospital activation (CVA, STEMI, Trauma), cardiac or respiratory arrest, controlled substance administrations, RSI requests, all critical care bay... read more

Plugging in Vehicles to Shore Power
It is the expectation that vehicles are plugged in when they are stationary at any of the 3 bases. We have had multiple occasions recently where vehicles were found dead in the bays and were not plugged in to shore power. Vehicles will not be left running outside a base in lieu of being plugged in. read more
Washing/Cleaning of CHS Vehicles
Reminder that all CHS Vehicles will be cleaned at the end of shift. This includes washing the exterior of the vehicle, wiping down the hard surfaces inside the vehicle, emptying the garbage and mopping the floors. Please see the attached SOG 4.5.07 - Vehicle Cleaning and Decontamination. The garage bays being full is not an excuse for leaving a vehicle unwashed. Trucks can be moved. read more
