Comprehensive Case Review Series – Paramedic Intercepts, When to Call

Please join us for a night of case reviews, guidelines and up to date literature regarding when ALS is really needed, and when ALS is not.

Behavioral Health & Substance Use Disorder Considerations for EMS

The goal of this 8-hour course is to provide an overview of the causes of substance use disorder and common mental health illnesses as they relate to our patients, ourselves and our coworkers. The course will also examine the intersection of substance use disorder and mental health. Communications tools and resources EMS providers can utilize will be featured. The course concludes with a discussion on the mental health, wellness and resilience of EMS providers, building communication skills and providing resources providers can share or use.

CHS Simulation – First Quarter 2022

February 15th,17th, 22nd, 24th, 28th and March 3rd 1300-1500, 1515-1715 or 1830-2030. PLEASE SIGN UP FOR A SESSION NOW. SIM participation is required for all road providers AND trainees. Note: If you are unable to attend your scheduled session on short notice you must call the Ops Phone (just like you might call in sick for a shift). Please do not call the SIM Team, another officer or Scheduling. Please be in full CHS uniform with any accessories you might carry on shift (ie: safety glasses, TQ, stethoscope, etc)

Annual Mandatories

The annual mandatory trainings have been assigned to everyone through Target Solutions. They are due 12/23/2021.

ALS Core

Is running at the Henrietta HQ for the next 2 Wednesdays ( 20th, 27th). They start at 08:30 AM. The sessions are open to everyone (not paid time). Many of the sessions will have guest lecturers and are going to be progressive and informative; feel free to join if you would like.

Driver Competency Cone Course
