Rig Checks
Please remember to put your rig checks in e-Pro. I realize that the Chili and Scottsville Rigs do not match our current e-Pro rig checks. Please check what’s appropriate and then make comments in the comment box as necessary. Please be patient we are working on getting the Chili and Scottsville rig checks in e-Pro so they will be rig specific but it’s going to be a little while before this is complete. Any questions see me, thanks Jim!

Supply Exchange with 4th Batt. FD
Apparently Chili Ambulance was supplying equipment and supplies to the fire departments on scene. If they used a cannula, c-collar, etc. they would exchange one for one. I let the 4th Batt Fire Chiefs (Chili, Gates, Clifton, Churchville, and Mumford) that we will not be continuing that practice. If you are asked for equipment / supplies at the scene, politely decline. We will continue to fill oxygen cylinders, exchange will occur at the CHS ambulance station in Chili.

Recording On Scene time when Staging
If you are staging for a call, such as a potentially violent MHA, etc. You should record your on-scene time as the time you arrive at the staging location. You record time at patient as the actual time you make patient contact. Whenever you stage, for a call you are dispatched on, (this doesn’t include our internal staging or staging for Brighton) you need to indicate that you were staging and the reason on your PCR.
